Ascot Racecourse was founded by Queen Anne in 1711. Whilst our riding not far from Windsor Castle Queen Anne observed an open area suitable for “horses to gallop at full stretch”
and so a Racecourse was born that is now
host to Royal Ascot one of the foremost
events in the British social calendar.
