Midland Railway.
The Midland Railway, Butterley
operates a standard gauge line with steam
and diesel hauled passenger trains.
At Swanwick Junction Station there is a museum devoted
to the Midland Railway as well as a large collection
of steam and diesel locomotives.
Throughout the year there are special events such as A Day Out with Thomas,
Spooky Half Term Trains, Santa Specials, Footplate Experience Days,
and much more.
