The National Media Museum houses the national collections of Photography, Cinematography, Television and New Media. The Photography Collection includes the Daily Herald Archive, the Royal Photographic Society Collection, and the Kodak Museum Collection. The Cinematography Collection spans the pre-history and history of cinema, from magic lanterns to today's digital technologies. The Television Collection contains objects relating to the history of television, including Baird's 1925 experimental apparatus. The New Media collection includes objects related to the internet and home computing and also the National Videogame Archive.
