Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
Kelvingrove
has 22 themed, state-of-the-art galleries that include
internationally-significant natural history, arms and
armour, and art collections. Dutch, French, Italian and
Scottish art are well represented. The Scottish art
exhibits include The Glasgow Boys and The Scottish
Colourists movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Gallery highlights include a painting of Thomas Carlyle by Whistler, the Salvador Dali masterpiece Christ of St John of the
Cross, and Fulton's Orrery.
