British Library.
The British Library is a national gem and provides facilities for online and visiting researchers.
In addition, there are permanent galleries that provide a glimpse of the library's magnificent
collections; Sir John Ritblat Gallery : Treasures of the British Library, The Philatelic Exhibition, and Conservation Uncovered.
On display in the Ritblat are the 1215 Magna Carta, the Lindisfarne Gospels, Leonardo da Vinci's Notebook, The Times first edition from 18 March 1788, and Beatles manuscripts amongst a wealth of other treasures.
In the Philatelic Exhibition you will see some of the world's rarest stamps and in Conservation Uncovered you will discover how the library preserves their precious items.
