SS Great Britain.
The SS Great Britain, launched in Bristol in 1843, was the inspiration and triumph of engineer Isambard Kingdom
Brunel and was the world's first iron-hulled, steam-powered ocean going ship. She had a 1000 horsepower steam engine, iron hull, and a screw propeller. She is conserved in the dry dock where she was originally built.
