Postal Museum.
The
Postal Museum, located in the centre of Bath, is where
you can explore the history of the post and of the
British postbox, and learn about the key figures in the
development of the Post Office.
The first adhesive postage stamp was the famous Penny
Black, which officially came in to use on 6th May 1840.
The first ever letter bearing a postage stamp was mailed from Bath.
