Michelham Priory.

The original house dates from about 1450 and includes a large timber framed great hall. Nathaniel Lloyd bought the house in 1909 and set about its restoration by commissioning renowned architect Edwin Lutyens. Lutyens created a much larger house by combining a 16th century Yeoman's hall, moved from Kent, with the original house.

Michelham Priory is a Sussex Past property with free entry for members of the Sussex Archaeological Society.
