Anne of Cleves was the fourth wife of King Henry VIII.
The marriage last barely six months and as part of the
divorce settlement Anne acquired this small
timber-framed house in Lewes and Hever Castle in Kent.
The house contains wide-ranging collections of Sussex interest, including Sussex pottery.
Anne of Cleves house is a Sussex Past property with free entry
for members of the Sussex Archaeological Society.
