Gawthorpe Hall.

Gawthorpe Hall, a delightful Elizabethan house, was built between 1600 and 1605. The Hall was home to the Shuttleworth family for many years and is now home to the Rachel Kay-Shuttleworth Textile Collection. The Bronte home is not far from Gawthorpe and Charlotte Bronte visited the Shuttleworths in the 1850s.
