Calke Abbey.

Built in the early 1700s Calke Abbey, a Baroque style mansion, stands on the site of an Augustinian Priory. The Harpur family owned the mansion for over 350 years and was handed over to the nation to pay death duties. In the care of the National Trust Calke Abbey is largely un-restored and is billed as "the un-stately home and country estate".

Calke Abbey is a National Trust property with free entry for National Trust members.
