the greatest and the care of the meanest; and indeed an
employment and a possession for which no man is too high
nor too low."
Britain's show gardens are either privately owned or are under the ownership of The Royal Horticultural Society, English Heritage, the National Trust, the National Trust for Scotland, Cadw, or Historic Scotland. These latter organizations provide free entry to members.
