Jorvik Centre.

At the Jorvik Viking Centre visitors journey through the reconstruction of Viking-Age streets as they would have looked 1000 years ago. The Centre is built on the site where excavations in the 1970s revealed Viking houses, workshops and backyards.

Special events occur throughout the year including the annual Jorvik Viking Festival.
