As well as its important
collections of fine and decorative art, the Holburne Museum also holds about 4,000 books in two separate collections,
and an archive of about 500 documents relating to the Holburne family.
Included in the fine art collection are paintings by Thomas Gainsborough and
JMW Turner's painting "Pembroke Castle".
