Hunterian Museum.
The Hunterian Museum
is named after Dr. William Hunter who was born in 1718 and bequeathed his collections to the University of Glasgow in 1783.
Today the Hunterian houses internationally significant collections of scientific instruments, coins, Roman artefacts,
the natural and life sciences, objects from Captain Cook’s Pacific voyages and art.
