Audley End.

Audley End is one of England's finest country houses, and was built by the 1st Earl of Suffolk (Thomas Howard) in the early 17th century. Howard was Lord Treasurer to King James I and was later imprisoned in the Tower of London for embezzlement. He was later released and spent his final days at Audley End.

Audley End is a English Heritage property with free entry for English Heritage members.
