Calanais Standing Stones.

The Calanais Standing Stones are a cross-shaped setting of standing stones erected around 3,000 BC. There are thirteen primary stones in a circle with an approach avenue from the north.

Calanais is a Historic Scotland property.

Location: There are regular ferries from Ullapool to Stornoway and Calanais is 30 minutes by bus from there.
